    Pilates is a mind-body conditioning with an emphasis on proper breathing techniques to build core strength (abdominals, obliques and back muscles). These exercises were developed by Joseph H. Pilates. During WWI, then an intern in England, Joseph Pilates developed a rehabilitation method for patients to regain strength and mobility. The medical doctors took notice of their speedy recovery & mental outlook. Joseph Pilates exercises have proven to develop optimal strength, endurance and postural awareness without building bulk or stressing your joints.


  • Describe the workout.
    The body conditioning workout begins with warm up exercises focusing on 5 basic principles. Depending upon your goals & limitations the workout is approximately 50 minutes followed with 5-10 minutes of stretching and relaxing.
